Chess Break: Privacy Policy
Chess Break does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data.
- No account. You never sign in.
- No network access. The extension works fully offline. The chess engine (Stockfish), the puzzles and all images ship inside the extension. Nothing is downloaded at runtime.
- Local storage only. Your settings, puzzle progress, streaks and saved games stay in your browser (
chrome.storage.local) on this device. They are never synced or uploaded. - You control your data. Settings → Data lets you export it to a file, import it back, or delete everything at any time. Uninstalling the extension also removes it.
- No analytics, no ads, no tracking.
- No reading of websites. Chess Break doesn't read pages you visit and never touches games on Chess.com, Lichess or any other site. When you click its icon it places its own window on top of the current tab; the app runs in an isolated frame the page can't see into.
